This is an aged shu liu bao tea made of a blend of "top grade" (特级, teji) and grade 1 material by Wuzhou Tea Factory, the largest producer of liu bao. This is a medium-heavy fermentation level, and has been stored very clean.
Storage is clean, with no moldy flavor or aroma. It was stored in Wuzhou until 2020, when it arrived in Seattle, Washington. Wuzhou has a humid subtropical climate with an average relative humidity of 60-80%.

This was a special order for a merchant in Wuzhou, who wanted a blend of stronger teji/特级/top grade material with some first grade material, which has slightly larger leaf and some stems. The addition of the slightly larger material was to help the tea be more durable/last longer across infusions.
